Peacebuilders is a “prevention program of techniques for preventing disruption and violence – one that helps to set a positive, peaceful culture in place in the community, in schools, and in homes.”

Teachers engage students in activities that teach the Peacebuilders’ principles:  Help Others, Praise People, Give-Up Put-Downs, Seek Wise People, Notice Hurts, and Right Wrongs.  Students recite the PeaceBuilders pledge every morning to remind them of the principles they need to follow to create a positive environment inside and outside the classroom.

During monthly assemblies, each teacher recognizes a student who models the PeaceBuilders principles.  Students are presented with a PeaceBuilders certificate, t-shirt, and necklace.
